It's going to be a good one...

I believe we are here for a reason. As each day unfolds, we see less of the shadow... and more of the sun.

The meteor showers this morning set a fantastic stage for a gorgeous sunrise....it's going to be a good day, I know.

Make it a fabulous one!

Hey Alikona...
So did you get to see many meteors? I was out between 11:00 & 11:30 last night in Denver but only saw 2. That isn't even an unusual number for a normal night -nothing to remember for a Perseids display. Hope you got to see something close to the one per minute advertised. I sat through the Leonids about 5 years back when we had 2200 per hour. It was spectacular sitting out in the Ohlone wilderness with a bottle of wine for 4 hours. Only thing I forgot was a cd player and Dark Side of the Moon.

Meteors in the morning! Way too early for me.

I've gotta get out of the city and see these this weekend. That is if I can keep my eyes open late enough!

Ielala -- Dark Side of the Moon?! You rock my world! Nah, I didn't see the 1 per minute; only a handful. I hear September 1 is going to be the BIG show (the most going on at one time)....but it will also be a near full moon (waning?) so we won't really be able to see them as well.

I saw a blind man walking down the street today and thought how darn lucky I am to be able to watch the sun rise and set every day! So so very blessed.

Have fun in Denver!

Adam -- Yes, you do need to get out of that city...and STAT! ;) I'd rather be awake at times when everyone else is sleeping...either too early or too late.

How's the weather up there now? I bet it's awesome, eh?
